- Open our licence records. Each BlockMark Registry record above shows our licence, who issued it (The IASME Consortium Ltd), the company it was issued to and its status.
- Search IASME’s directory. Open IASME’s find a certification body page and search for “Get Cyber Certified” or “Data Security and Compliance Services”.
- Check the legal entity. Look up company number 09707953 on Companies House and confirm it matches the company in IASME’s directory.
- Check who you’re paying. Your invoice and receipt come from Data Security and Compliance Services Ltd, the licensed company, not a reseller.
Once you’re certified, your certificate is recorded through IASME and you can share it with customers and suppliers on the BlockMark Registry, using the link in your pass email.

IASME’s term is licensed: IASME licenses certification bodies to assess and certify organisations on behalf of the NCSC’s Cyber Essentials scheme. If you’re searching for an approved or authorised Cyber Essentials certification body, an IASME-licensed certification body is what you’re looking for.

NCSC
The National Cyber Security Centre owns Cyber Essentials, the UK government-backed scheme, and sets its technical requirements.
IASME
IASME delivers Cyber Essentials for the NCSC. It licenses and monitors certification bodies, and runs IASME Cyber Assurance.

Licensing questions answered
Is Get Cyber Certified an approved Cyber Essentials certification body?
Yes. Get Cyber Certified (Data Security and Compliance Services Ltd) is licensed by IASME, the NCSC’s Cyber Essentials delivery partner, to assess and certify organisations for Cyber Essentials and IASME Cyber Assurance. IASME’s term is ’licensed’, but it’s what people mean when they search for an approved, authorised or accredited Cyber Essentials certification body.
Is Get Cyber Certified approved by the NCSC?
The NCSC owns the Cyber Essentials scheme and appoints IASME to deliver it. IASME licenses certification bodies such as Get Cyber Certified to assess and certify on the scheme’s behalf, so a Cyber Essentials certificate from us is issued under the NCSC’s Cyber Essentials scheme.
How do I check a certification body's licence?
Open the company’s licence record on the BlockMark Registry, where IASME records certification body licences, or search IASME’s certification body directory for the company’s name. Then check the legal entity on Companies House, and make sure the company that takes your money is the one listed. For Get Cyber Certified, search for ’Get Cyber Certified’ or ’Data Security and Compliance Services’, company number 09707953.
Is a Cyber Essentials certificate from Get Cyber Certified the same as one from IASME?
Yes. Every Cyber Essentials certificate is issued under the same NCSC scheme and recorded through IASME, whichever licensed certification body assesses you. Choosing us gives you your own assessor, who works with you year after year.
Do you certify Cyber Essentials Plus?
Cyber Essentials Plus is delivered by one of our partner CE+ consultants. We look after your Cyber Essentials, then hand the CE+ audit to our partner, and you keep the same point of contact throughout.
Do you certify IASME Cyber Assurance?
Yes. We’re licensed for IASME Cyber Assurance and offer it as Supported Certification, with your own assessor guiding you through it.
